Opportunity Fund Bursaries

The Opportunity Fund’s innovative Bursary Program will encourage students to aspire to a university education and help them make that dream a reality by removing financial obstacles to attaining a higher education.

Opportunity Bursaries are intended to provide flexibility and support for both part-time and full-time students, offering support for expenses not always covered in bursary programs. These bursaries will be awarded to applicants who show academic promise and financial need, and are from a group currently under-represented at The University of Winnipeg.

The Opportunity Fund offers support as well for adult learners, who will benefit from a bursary that supports critical needs such as emergency and non-subsidized childcare, food, and shelter.
